Specificity: Anti-CD62L In Vivo Antibody - Low Endotoxin (DREG56) recognizes an epitope on Human CD62L.
Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Antigen Distribution: Majority of B cells, naïve T cells, subset of memory T and NK cells, monocytes, granulocytes, thymocytes.
Background: L-selectin, also known as CD62L, is a cell adhesion molecule consisting of a large, highly glycosylated, extracellular domain found on leukocytes. It belongs to the selectin family of proteins, which recognise sialylated carbohydrate groups. L-selectin acts as a "homing receptor" for leukocytes to enter secondary lymphoid tissues via the high endothelial venules. L-selectin is an effective marker for separating lymphoid progenitors from myeloid progenitors and hematopoietic stem cells in bone marrow.
