Background: CCR2b, or C-C chemokine receptor type 2, is a G protein-coupled receptor for monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1). This receptor is expressed on the cell membrane of monocytes and IL2-activated NK cells. CCR2b binding to MCP-1 mediates monocyte chemotaxis, and is associated with diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and HIV-1. Several chemokine receptor targeting drugs have been approved, with even more clinical trials currently underway.
Biological Activity: Dose response curve for Anti-CCR2b Antibody, hFc Tag with the EC50 of 0.11 µg/mL determined by ELISA.
