Background: CCR6 (C-C chemokine receptor type 6), also known as CD196, is expressed mainly in T-cells, B-cells, and lymphocytes. CCR6-mediated signals are critical in inflammatory responses, recruiting IL17-producing T-cells to inflammation sites. Chemokine CCL20 exclusively binds to CCR6, and this ligand-receptor relationship is of interest in studies of inflammatory and autoimmune disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease and psoriasis.
Description: Human CCR6 (C-C chemokine receptor type 6) protein (VLP), full length encompassing amino acids 1-374(end). This construct contains a C-terminal His-tag (10xHis) and was produced using VLP (virus-like particle) technology.
