Clone: DCIS1/18.
Conjugate: PE.
Immunogen: Dendritic cells derived from human monocytes.
Storage Buffer: The reagent is provided in aqueous buffered solution containing protein stabilizer, and ≤0.09% sodium azide (NaN3).
Recommended Usage: CD11b, clone DCIS1/18, is a mAb intended for the identification/enumeration of human leucocytes using FCM. This reagent is effective for direct IF staining of human tissue for FCM analysis using ≤1 μg/106 cells.
Description: This antibody reacts with the CD11b-antigen (MO-1) also called Integrin alpha M, which is expressed on monocytes, granulocytes and NK-cells. Integrin alpha-M comprises the receptor (CR3 am chain, CD11b/CD18) for the complement component C3i. Integrin alpha-M/beta-2 is implicated in various adhesive interactions of monocytes, macrophages and granulocytes as well as in mediating the uptake of complement-coated particles.
Integrin heterodimer of MW 165,95kD which comprises the receptor (CR3 am chain, CD11b/ CD18) for the complement component C3i. The CR3 receptor is expressed as a surface molecule by circulating monocytes and granulocytes and also by dendritic reticulum cells in sections of lympoid tissue. Expression is increased on activated granulocytes.
