Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling.
Assay Conditions: A 50 µl Galactokinase reaction isconducted in a buffer containing 20 mMTris (pH 7.4), 5 mM MgCl2, 50 mM NaCl,50 µM ATP, 1 mM DTT and 1 mMsubstrate D-Galactose at roomtemperature for 1h. ATP reduction isdetected using Kinase-Glo® LuminescentKinase Assay Platform.
Description: Human galactokinase (GenBank Accession No. NM_000154), full length with N-terminal His-tag, MW=42 kDa, expressed in an E. coli expression system.
Format: Aqueous buffer solution
Formulation: 45 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 124 mM NaCl, 2.4 mM KCl, 10% glycerol, 225 mM imidazole, and 3 mM DTT.
