Human IgA1 kappa, polymer

Background: Confirmed by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony). Not less than 98% as determined by agar-gel electrophoresis, quantitative densitometry immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony). This IgA1 consists of polymers and will contain J chain. The product contains a trace of non-Ig protein. Purified human IgA1 kappa may be used as a reference antigen, calibrator, coating protein and blocking agent in a variety of immunoassays including immunodiffusion, immunoelectrophoresis, ELISA, Western blotting, dot-immunobinding assays (DIBA), haemagglutination, and cell-binding assays.
