Species: Human

Application Note: Functional assay: Shows the biological function of the IL-22 moiety and exerts a prolonged circulating half-life caused by the modified (Non-lytic) Fc domain. Non-lytic: Acts as a long lasting fusion protein which only binds to the receptor. Mutations to the complement (C1q) and FcgR I binding sites of the IgGs Fc fragment render the fusion proteins incapable of antibody directed cytotoxicity (ADCC) and complement directed cytotoxicity (CDC).

Form: Lyophilized powder

Buffer (with preservative): Reconstitute with 50 μg vial in 50 μl sterile water. Add 1x PBS to the desired protein concentration. Lyophilized from 0.2μm-filtered solution in PBS, no preservative.

Concentration:

Background: This gene is a member of the IL10 family of cytokines that mediate cellular inflammatory responses. The encoded protein functions in antimicrobial defense at mucosal surfaces and in tissue repair. This protein also has pro-inflammatory properties and plays a role in in the pathogenesis of several intestinal diseases. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2018]

Uniprot ID: Q9GZX6

Region Sequence: The extracellular domain of human IL-22 (aa 34-179) is fused to the N-terminus of the Fc region of a mutant human IgG1.

ExpressionSystem: CHO Cells

Conjugation: Unconjugated

Full Name: interleukin 22
