Additional info: The antibody reacts with prostatic acid phosphatase in the glandular epithelium of normal andhyperplastic prostate, and adenocarcinoma of the prostate. Anti-PSAP is useful in identifying prostaticorigin of tumors in the metastatic setting. PSAP complements other immunohistochemical markers inthe correct clinical context.
