Additional info: Ornithine decarboxylase is the rate-limiting enzyme in polyamine biosynthesis converting ornithine into putrescine. In normal tissue ornithine decarboxylase activity is low but increases in proliferating tissue.
Absorption with 10-100 ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining.Positive control: Stefanini-fixed frozen sections of renal cortex from testosterone-treated mice.
