Background: GITR Ligand/TNFSF18 is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. It is a ligand for receptor TNFRSF18/AITR/GITR and has been shown to modulate T lymphocyte survival in peripheral tissues.
