Additional info: At -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Background: Hepatocyte growth factor-regulated tyrosine kinase substrate is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the HGS gene. It is mapped to 17q25.3. The protein encoded by this gene regulates endosomal sorting and plays a critical role in the recycling and degradation of membrane receptors.
