The Arvensis B-Frame is the world first PCR microplate made from a sustainably sourced, plant based material. Designed to fit the standard 96 well blocks of most common thermocyclers, the B-frame consists of two materials: While the thin-walled reaction wells are still made from 100% virgin medical grade low bind polypropylene to prevent unwanted reactions between well and sample, the frame holding the individual wells is made from a plant-derived biocomposite material. The combination of these two materials reduces the carbon footprint of the wells by 46%.

Every plate undergoes rigouros testing to ensure proper integrity and seal tightness. All Arvensis PCR plates are certified free from DNase, RNase, nucleases and human gDNA.

Plates are avaiable with clear or white wells for standard PCR, qPCR or RT-PCR.
