Purification Method: Egg-yolk derived IgY, affinity purified on a Protein L-agarose column.

Source: Chickens were immunized with purified recombinant protein L (a cell surface protein from Peptostreptococcus magnus). After multiple immunizations in Freund's adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction purified. Antibodies were immunoaffinity-purified from a protein L-agarose column and conjugated to fluoroscein isothiocyanate.

Formulation: Phosphate Buffered Saline‚ 50% Glycerol with 0.075% sodium azide.
