Background: Dipeptidyl peptidase-7 (DPP7), also known as DPP2, is a serineaminopeptidase found in quiescent lymphocytes. Inhibition of this enzyme inducesapoptosis, and levels of DPP7 are elevated in many tumors, suggesting that DPP7 may beinvolved in a novel pathway for tumor suppression.
Contraindications: DMSO >1%, strong acids or bases, ionic detergents, high salt
Description: The Fluorogenic DPP7 Assay Kit isdesigned to measure DPP7 activity using purified DPP7 for screening and profiling applications.The key to the Fluorogenic DPP7 Assay Kit is thespecific, fluorogenic substrate. Using this kit, only one simple step on a microtiter plate isrequired for DPP7 reactions. The fluorometric substrate is incubated with a samplecontaining DPP7 enzyme to produce a fluorophore that can then be measured using afluorescence reader.
Storage Stability: At least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Kit components require different storage conditions. Be sure to store each component at the proper temperature upon arrival.
Supplied As: Supplied in a convenient 96-well format, with purified DPP7 enzyme, DPP substrate, and DPP assay buffer for 100 enzyme reactions.
Warnings: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
