Background: Recombinant human FN is a major component of the provisional ECM produced during sprouting angiogenesis.
Description: Human fibronectin 1 (FN1, also known as CD36), Genbank Accession number X02761.1, a.a. 2175 - 2386 with a C-terminal His-tag, expressed in an HEK293 cell expression system. MW =28 kDa. This protein migrates at a higher than expected molecular weight due to glycosylation.
Endotoxin Level: Endotoxin level was found to be < 0.1 ng/µg (1EU/µg), using the LAL gel clot method.
Format: Lyophilized solid
Formulation: Lyophilized from from 0.2 µm filtered PBS solution, pH 7.2 , 5% Trehalose. at 0.1-1.0 mg/mL in distilled water. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers. To maximize product collection from vial surface, vortex briefly and then spin down to recollect the liquid.
