Presentation: Lyophilized from sterile 25mM MES, 25mM NaCl, pH 6.5, 5% Trehalose, 5% Mannitol, 0.01% Tween80.
Description: The recombinant pro form of human cathepsin V comprises 328 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 37.1 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 40 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the full length of human cathepsin L2 (NP_001324.2) (Met 1-Val 334) was expressed, with a C-terminal polyhistidine tag.
Synonyms: CTSV, Cathepsin L2, Cathepsin L2, preproprotein, Cathepsin V, Cathepsin U, CTSU, CATL2, CTSL2
Recommended Storage: Lyophilized proteins are stable for up to 12 months when stored at -20° to -80°C. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-8°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20°C for 3 months.
Protein Tag: 6His, C-terminus
Protein Type: Recombinant
Reconstitution Instructions: Always centrifuge tubes before opening. It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.15mg/ml. Do no mix by vortex.
Purification: Greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE
Predicted Molecular Weight: 37.1 kDa
