Product Description: 7-Methyl-6-thioguanosine (MESG) is a chromophoric substrate which can be used for the quantitation of inorganic phosphate. 7-Methyl-6-thioguanosine is also used to determine the activity of purine nucleoside phosphorylase[1][2].
