Notes: Picoxystrobin is a strobilurin fungicide.{51760} It reduces the number of bean plants infected by white mold and the extent of infection, as well as increases bean plant yield, in field studies when applied at a concentration of 220 g AI/ha.{51760} Picoxystrobin, in combination with the triazole fungicide cyproconazole (Item No. 32947), decreases the incidence of tar spots on the lower canopies, ear leaves, and upper canopies in corn fields experimentally infected with P. maydis.{51761} It induces tail deformities, pericardial edema, and spine curvature in zebrafish embryos when used at a concentration of 100 µg/L and is toxic to zebrafish embryos (LC50 = 213.8 µg/L).{51759} Formulations containing picoxystrobin have been used in the control of fungal diseases in agriculture.
