Description: BAY-11-7082 is a selective and irreversible inhibitor of NF-κB activation by blocking TNF-α-induced phosphorylation of IκB-α without affecting constitutive IκB-α phosphorylation. It also inhibits the TNF-α-induced surface expression of adhesion molecules ICAM-1, VCAM-1, and E-selectin in human endothelial cells.
Format: A crystalline solid
Purity: ≥98% by HPLC
Solubility: Soluble in ethanol, DMSO and DMF, purged with an inert gas. Solubility in ethanol is~ 0.20 mg/ml, and in DMSO and DMF is 25 mg/ml.
Storage Stability: Store at or below -20°C. Solid form is stable at least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Do not store aqueous solutions for more than one day.
