Background: ML-161 is thought to act allosterically. ML-161 inhibits thrombin-induced platelet activation.
Biological Activity: ML-161 is an antagonist of the protease-activated receptor 1 (PAR1), that inhibits thrombin and SFLLN-induced platelet activation. ML-161 dose dependently inhibits SFLLN-induced expression of P-selectin with an IC50 of 0.26 µM.
