Description: Soruberoylanilide Hydroxamic Acid (SAHA), or Vorinostat, is a histone deacetylase inhibitor and causes growth arrest and death of some transformed cells both in vitro and in vivo, with little or no toxic effects on normal cells.
Format: White to off-white crystalline solid; granular or powder.
Purity: ≥95% by HPLC.
Solubility: Soluble in DMSO at 66 mg/ml; soluble in ethanol at 2 mg/ml with slight warming; very poorly soluble in water; maximum solubility in plain water is estimated to be about 20-50µM
Storage Stability: Store at or below -20°C. Solid form is stable at least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Do not store aqueous solutions for more than one day.
