Description: Tofacitinib, also known as Tasocitinib, is a novel inhibitor of Janus kinase 3 (JAK3), a critical cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase in the signaling pathways of multiple cytokines. Research suggests Tofacitinib acts as an immunosuppressant, preventing organ transplant rejection, and that it has potential to alleviate symptoms of autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis.
Format: White to off-white solid.
Purity: ≥99%
Solubility: Soluble in DMSO at 100 mg/ml; soluble in ethanol at 100 mg/ml; very poorly soluble in water; maximum solubility in plain water is estimated to be about 10-20 µM
Storage Stability: Store at or below -20°C. Solid form is stable at least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Do not store aqueous solutions for more than one day.
