Notes: 306Oi10 is a branched-chain ionizable cationic lipidoid (pKa = 6.4) that has been used in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the delivery of mRNA in vivo.{67038} LNPs containing 306Oi10 and encapsulating an mRNA reporter increase luminescence in the livers and spleens in mice to a greater extent than LNPs containing MC3 (DLin-MC3-DMA; Item No. 34364) or C12-200 (Item No. 36699).{37039} LNPs containing 306Oi10 and encapsulating an mRNA reporter selectively accumulate in hepatocytes, and to a lesser extent in Kupffer and endothelial cells, in mice. LNPs containing 306Oi10 and encapsulating mRNA encoding erythropoietin (EPO) increase serum levels of EPO in mice.
