Clone: A3-B1.
Conjugate: APC-C750.
Immunogen: Human CD19 purified from tonsil.
Storage Buffer: The reagent is provided in aqueous buffered solution containing protein stabilizer, and ≤0.09% sodium azide (NaN3).
Recommended Usage: CD19, clone A3-B1, is a mAb intended for identification/enumeration of human B cells by FCM. This reagent is effective for direct IF staining of human tissue for FCM analysis using ≤1 μg/106 cells.
Description: This antobody reacts with the CD19- antigen (B4-antigen), which is expressed on human B lymphocytes. The monoclonal antibody is B lineage-specific and reacts with early B-cell precursors, pre-pre-B-cells, pre-B- cells, B-cells, intermediate B-cells, mature B-cells and some plasmacytoid cells, also reacts with pre-B-cell- lines, B lymphoblastoid cell-lines and Burkitt cell- lines, and with 50% of myeloma cell-lines. Plasma cells were found to be negative.
This antibody reacts with the pan-B antigen designated CD19 which appears early during B cell maturation, probably prior to the pre-B cell stage. It is expressed at all stages of B-cell differentiation except terminally differentiated plasma cells. It is also present on the cell surface of follicular dendritic cells.
