Application Note: For diluting antibodies use 1ml Brig 35 solution added to 400 ml of appropriate buffer. For washing buffer use 5 ml Brig 35 solution added to 95 ml of appropriate buffer. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the individual lab.

Buffer (with preservative): This detergent is supplied as 15% in water, 0.15 % Proclin 300.

Background: Brig 35 (Polyoxyethylene Laural Ether), also known as Brij 35, is a non ionic detergent used in immunoassays for diluting antibodies to lower background, and non specific ag-ab reaction. Brig 35 is a polyoxyethylene laural ether that has a lower surface tension than water.
