Products from BPS Bioscience require a minimum order value above 400€Applications: Great for studying enzyme kinetics and screening small molecular inhibitors for drug discovery and HTS applications.
Background: Hsp90α is a molecular chaperone with essential functions in maintaining transformation. Inhibition of Hsp90α function has been shown to play a role in tumorigenesis and disease progression.
Contraindications: DMSO >1%, strong acids or bases, ionic detergents, high salt
Description: The HSP90α Assay Kit is designed for identification of HSP90α inhibitors using fluorescence polarization. The assay is based on the competition of fluorescently labeled geldanamycin for binding to purified recombinant HSP90α. The key to the HSP90α Assay Kit is the fluorescently labeled geldanamycin. Using this kit, only one simple step on a microtiter plate is required for HSP90α reactions. The fluorescently labeled geldanamycin is incubated with a sample containing HSP90α enzyme to produce a change in fluorescent polarization. The FP signal is measured using a fluorescent microplate reader capable of measuring fluorescence polarization.
Storage Stability: Stable for at least 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Kit components require different storage conditions. Be sure to store each component at the proper temperature upon arrival.
Supplied As: The HSP90α inhibitor screening assay kit comes in a convenient 96-well format, with purified HSP90α enzyme, fluorescently labeled geldanamycin and HSP90α assay buffer for 96 enzyme reactions.
Uniprot: P07900
Warnings: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
Biosafety Level: Not applicable (BSL-1)
