Specificity/Sensitivity: This antibody is able to detect native and recombinant mouse p40 subunit of IL-12 and IL-23. In combination with different detection antibodies, it is able to recognize p40 monomer, p40 homodimer, IL-12 p70 heterodimer (p40 + p35), and IL-23 heterodimer (p40 + p19).

Background: This gene encodes the beta subunit p40 of the Interleukin 12 (IL-12) family of cytokines.
