Description: The MLL1 Complex Direct Activity Chemiluminescent Assay kit is designed to measureMLL1 activity for screening and profiling applications, using purified MLL1 and itscomplex components: WDR5, RbBP5,Ash2, and DPY30. The key to the MLL1Complex Chemiluminescent Assay Kit is a highly specific antibody that recognizesmethylated K4 residue of Histone H3. With this kit, only three simple steps on amicrotiter plate are required for methyltransferase detection. First, S-adenosylmethionineis incubated with a sample containing assay buffer and methyltransferase enzyme for onehour. Next, primary antibody is added. Finally, the plates are treated with an HRP-labeledsecondary antibody followed by the addition of the HRP substrate to producechemiluminescence that can be measured using a chemiluminescence reader.

Storage Stability: 12 months from date of receipt, when stored as directed. Kit components require different storage conditions. Be sure to store each component at the proper temperature upon arrival.

Supplied As: Kit comes in a convenient format, with a 96-well plate precoated with histone H3 peptide substrate, reagents, and purified MLL1 enzyme complex for 100 enzyme reactions.

Warnings: Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.
