Background: Mouse anti Human CD33, conjugated with PE can be used for the identification of human Monocytes (bright) and Granulocytes (dim) expressing the 67kDa M.W. surface antigen. CD33 is also found on CFU-mix, CFU-GM, CFU-Meg, a portion of BFU-E, myeloblasts, promyelocytes, myelocytes, metamyelocytes but not early precursors.
Purification Method: Protein A/G Chromatography.
Source: Derived from the hybridization of mouse Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with FMY9S5 cells containing the CD33 gene.
