Additional info: Myogenin also identified as myogenic factor 4 is a muscle specific transcription factor associated with muscle differentiation and cell cycle.1 Anti-myogenin reactivity is seen in the nuclei of myoblasts in developing muscle tissue. Anti-myogenin is a useful immunohistochemical reagent for identification of rhabdomyosarcoma.
