Clone Number: EBS-O-166
Immunogen: homogenate of a human breast cancer specimen
Concentration: 100 ug/ml
Storage buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide
Additional info: EBS-O-166 specifically reacts with tenascin-C, an extracellular matrix glycoprotein of 210 kD. It recognizes those forms of tenascin that are produced by both normal and hyperproliferative (also neoplastic) tissues. Tenascin/hexabrachion/cytotactin is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein, widely expressed during embryogenesis. In adults, it is restricted to certain epithelial-stromal interfaces and increases markedly in hyperproliferative diseases and in stroma of many neoplasms, including gliomas, breast, squamous and lung carcinomas.
