Biological Activity: The ED(50) was determined by the dose-dependent proliferation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells and was found to be in the range of 0-4.0 ng/ml.

Description: Recombinant mouse VEGF (GenBank Accession No. NM_009505) is a 39 kDa disulfide-linked homodimeric protein (a.a. 27-190), consisting of two 164 amino acid polypeptides.

Reconstitution: Reconstitute at 0.1-1.0 mg/ml in distilled water. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers. To maximize product collection from vial surface, vortex briefly and then spin down to recollect the liquid.

Storage Stability: ≥2 years (lyophilized) at -20°C. Reconstituted solutions can be stored in undiluted aliquots at 4°C for one week or at -20°C for up to six months.
