Target: Angiopoietin 2.

Specificity: Detects human Ang-2. This non-therapeutic antibody uses the same sequence as the therapeutic antibody Nesvacumab.

Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Background: RUO nesvacumab is an experimental monoclonal antibody originally designed for the treatment of cancer. It targets the protein angiopoietin 2. As of May 2017, it is in Phase II clinical trials for the treatment of diabetic macular edema.

Concentration: 5mg/ml.

Formulation: Sterile, preservative-free, solution in PBS. BSA and Azide free.

Purity: >95% by SDS-PAGE.

Endotoxin: ≤ 1.0 EU/mg as determined by the LAL method.
