Background: Nucleoprotein (ORF9a) packages the positive-strand viral RNA genome into a helical ribonucleocapsid (RNP) during virion assembly through its interactions with the viral genome and membrane protein M.
Description: Recombinant ORF9b, full length, encompassing amino acids 1-97(end). This recombinant protein corresponds to SARS-CoV-2 accessory protein ORF9b. It was expressed in E.coli and contains an N-terminal GST tag and a prescission protease cleavage site. The recombinant protein is >90% pure following GST affinity purification.
Formulation: 40 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.3, 110 mM NaCl, 2.2 mM KCl, 0.04% Tween-20, 3 mM DTT, 20 mM Glutathione and 20% Glycerol.
Purity: >90%
Storage Stability: At least 6 months at -80°C.
