Para-Pak® SVT (Single Vial Transport) is a convenient one-vial system for the routine collection, transportation, preservation and examination of stool specimens for intestinal parasites. Para-Pak® SVT provides a multi-purpose PVA-free, mercury-free and formalin-free fixative/preservative suitable for a variety of parasitological procedures. The fixative affords an excellent means of minimizing the adverse effects of delay in specimen transport. Para-Pak SVT preserved specimens may be examined directly, concentrated, permanently stained, or used in fecal immunoassays.
