Product Description: PON3 is less active against organophosphates and aromatic carboxylic acid esters and is particularly capable of rapidly hydrolyzing lactones, including statin precursors such as lovastatin. It is capable of hydrolyzing aromatic lactones and specific 5- or 6-membered ring lactones, but is less efficient for simple or polar substituted lactones.
