Encompassing Amino Acids: full length

Applications: Useful as an E3 ligase in ubiquitin-conjugating reactions and to analyze upregulation/downregulation of E3 enzymes.

Background: Praja1 (along with Praja2, 53% identity) is a RING-H2 domain E3 (ubiquitin protein ligase) that is involved in the conjugation of ubiquitin to target substrates along with E1 and E2 enzymes. Substrates for Praja1 include Dlxin-1 (MAGE-D1, human) which regulates Dlx5 dependent transcriptional function (involved in osteoblast differentiation) and ELF and Smad3 involved in the TGF-beta signaling pathway implicated in gastrointestinal cancers.

Biological Activity: Typical enzyme concentration of 100 nM - 5 mM is used for in vitro conjugation, depending on conditions.

Description: Human Praja1 recombinant protein (Genbank Accession No. NP_660095), full length with N-terminal SUMO-tag, expressed in E. coli.

Format: Aqueous buffer solution

Formulation: 50 mM Tris Buffer, pH 7.6, 150 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol

Genbank: NP_660095
