Background: CSTF64 is the RNA-binding 64 kDa subunit of the cleavage stimulation factor (CstF). CstF is part of the polyadenylation machinery that adds adenylate residues to the 3’-ends of eukaryotic pre-mRNAs. In the CstF complex, CSTF64 interacts with CSTF1 (CSTF50), and CSTF3 (CSTF77).
