Background: Caveolin 1 is a tyrosine phosphoprotein that plays an essential role in the formation of caveolae where it acts as a scaffolding protein. It has also been shown to bind cholesterol and to be involved in the lipid transport, membrane trafficking and signal transduction. Interacts directly with G-protein alpha subunits and can functionally regulate their activity.

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide derived from the human caveolin-1 beta isoform

Purification Method: Ammonium Sulfate Precipitation

Concentration: See vial for concentration

Formulation: Provided as solution in phosphate buffered saline with 0.08% sodium azide
