Clone: Polyclonal
Background: The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the Fc portion of the subclass IgG2c. It does not react with other subclasses of IgG, IgG/Fab fragments, IgM and IgA or any non-Ig protein in rat serum, as tested by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion. In precipitating techniques as immunoelectrophoresis and radial immunodiffusion to identify the presence of IgG2c in rat serum and other body fluids or to determine its concentration. To prepare an immunoadsorbent for the purification of rat IgG2c from serum or plasma.
Source: Pools of purified homogenous IgG2c isolated from rat serum. Freund’s complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Specificity: Precipitating polyclonal Rabbit antiSerum to Rat IgG2c, subclass specific.
Formulation: Delipidated, heat inactivated, lyophilized whole antiserum. No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. Total protein and IgG concentration in the antiserum are comparable to those of pooled normal rabbit serum. No foreign prote
