Applications: Useful for the study of enzyme kinetics, screening inhibitors, and selectivity profiling. 

Assay Conditions: SYK was incubated with a substrate (Tyr peptide 2) for 1 hour at RT in 1X kinase buffer supplemented with ATP. Developer solution was added to reaction and reaction was stopped after 1 hour of incubation at RT.

Description: Recombinant full-length human SYK (GenBank accession #NM_003177) with an N-terminal GST-tag was expressed in Sf9 insect cells via a baculovirus expression system. MW = 10 kDa.

Formulation: 45 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8, 124 mM NaCl, 2.4 mM KCl, 18 mM glutathione,3 mM DTT and 10% glycerol.
