Notes: Tiger17 is a cyclic peptide and derivative of tigerinin-RC1 and tigerinin-RC2, which are antimicrobial peptides found in crab-eating frog (F. cancrivora) skin secretions.{51495} It increases the proliferation of HaCaT keratinocytes and human skin fibroblasts when used at concentrations ranging from 5 to 20 µg/ml and increases HaCaT cell migration at 20 µg/ml. Tiger17 increases the recruitment of, and the secretion of TGF-β1 and IL-6 from, RAW 264.7 macrophages. Topical application of tiger17 (20 µg/ml) increases the rate of wound closure and re-epithelialization in a mouse model of full-thickness dermal wounds.
