Product Description: Fresh human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) isolated via Ficoll density gradient separation from fresh whole blood from a male donor collected in Vacuettes containing sodium heparin anticoagulant. Blood comes from a healthy donor aged between 18-66. Donors are screened and tested negative for HIV, Hepatitis B and C and Syphilis, and isolated PBMCs are batch tested negative for bacteria and Mycoplasma via PCR. The PBMCs are stored and shipped under chilled conditions and are shipped overnight to arrive the day after collection. PBMC number varies significantly from donor to donor. Therefore, our PBMC sizing is described in relation to the volume of fresh blood from which the PBMCs are isolated from. This product contains between 96 - 320 million PBMCs and is delivered in a 50 ml falcon tube containing Dulbecco's medium. These products are for use in Biomedical Research only.
