Applications: Use as an internal control in CAR-T co-culture killing assaysIn vitro and in vivo bioluminescence imaging
Background: HL- 60 cells are an immortal human cell line derived from blood lymphocytes from a patient presenting acute promyelocytic leukemia (an aggressive leukemia). HL-60 cells can be differentiated through the myeloid pathway to become neutrophils by using DMSO, DMF, and other inducers. This cell line can be used in immune disorder and immunology research. The signal generated by the firefly luciferase is proportional to cell numbers.
Description: Recombinant HL-60 cells constitutively expressing the firefly (Photinus pyralis) luciferase gene under the control of a CMV promoter.
Host Cell Line: HL-60
Mycoplasma Testing: The cell line has been screened to confirm the absence of Mycoplasma species.
Storage Stability: Cells are shipped in dry ice and should immediately be thawed or stored in liquid nitrogen upon receipt. Do not use a -80°C freezer for long term storage.
Supplied As: Each vial contains 2 x 106 cells in 1 ml of cell freezing medium (BPS Bioscience, #79796)
