Description: The ZR-96 BashingBeadTM Lysis Rack (Barcoded) is a 96-well microbial lysis rack which enables complete homogenization/lysis of tough-to-lyse bacteria, fungi, yeast, and other cells from a variety of sample types including feces, soil, sludge, saliva, swabs & other biological samples, making it ideal for high-throughput microbial community profiling and pathogen detection by mechanical bead beating based nucleic acid purification systems on automated platforms. Designed to be used for microbial lysis prior to nucleic acid purification with the ZymoBIOMICS 96 MagBead DNA Kit (D4306), the ZymoBIOMICS 96 DNA Kit (D4307) or equivalent.
