Encompassing Amino Acids: 33-418(end)
Application: Useful for for animal immunization and ELISA.
Background: ACPP, or prostatic acid phosphatase, is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate. This enzyme is understood to be a tumor suppressor in prostate carcinoma, as it dephosphorylates ERBB2 and deactivates the MAPK-signaling pathway. Further studies may highlight the role of ACPP in cancer progression and pain regulation.
Description: Human ACPP (Prostatic acid phosphatase) protein (VLP), encompassing amino acids 33-418(end). This construct contains an N-terminal His-tag (10xHis) and was produced using VLP (virus-like particle) technology.
