Clone: HI10a.

Conjugate: FITC.

Immunogen: NALM6 human peripheral blood leukemia pre-B cell line.

Storage Buffer: The reagent is provided in aqueous buffered solution containing protein stabilizer, and ≤0.09% sodium azide (NaN3).

Recommended Usage: CD10, clone HI10a, is a mAb intended for the identification/enumeration of human common acute lymphoblastic leukaemia antigen (CALLA) by FCM. This reagent is effective for direct IF staining of human tissue for FCM analysis using ≤1 μg/106 cells.

Description: This antibody reacts with the CD10- antigen (CALL-antigen), which is expressed on human lymphoblasts. The antibody reacts with early B lymphocytes (stem-cell, pre-B) and with the stem-cell of the lymphocyte lineage and immature thymocytes. Lymphoblasts of a patient with an Acute Lymphocytic Leukaemia of the c-ALL type were found to be positive. Normal B- and T lymphocytes, monocytes and platelets were found to be negative.

CD10 clon HI10a recognizes neutral endopeptidase, a 95 kD type II transmembrane glycoprotein, which is refered as the Common Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Antigen (CALLA) expressed on common acute lymphoblastic leukaemia cells which is seen on early B-lymphocytes and with stem cells of the lymphocyte lineage and immature thymocytes. The antigen is a neutral endopeptidase.
