Clone: TP1/6.
Conjugate: PE.
Immunogen: PHA activated T cells (Human).
Storage Buffer: The reagent is provided in aqueous buffered solution containing protein stabilizer, and ≤0.09% sodium azide (NaN3).
Recommended Usage: CD25, clone TP1/6 is a mAb intended for identification/enumeration of activated T and B cells, monocytes/macrophages, T reg. using FCM. This reagent is effective for direct IF staining of human tissue for FCM analysis using ≤1 μg/106 cells.
Description: This antobody reacts with the CD25-antigen, which recognizes a type I transmembrane glycoprotein. CD25 is an epitope B of the IL-2 alpha receptor. Expression of human CD25 (the alpha subunit of the IL-2 receptor complex) is dramatically upregulated on activated T cells, B cells, NK cells and macrophages.
The antibody TP1/6 reacts with CD25 (Interleukin-2 receptor α chain), a 55 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on activated B and T lymphocytes, activated monocytes/macrophages and on CD4+ T lymphocytes (T regulatory cells); it is lost on resting B and T lymphocytes. Antigen density of CD25 is upregulated by the stimulation of PHA, ConA and CD3 antibody
