Purification Method: Egg yolk-derived purified IgY (non affinity purified).

Source: Chickens were immunized with highly purified bovine serum albumin isolated from normal pooled bovine serum. After multiple immunizations in Freunds adjuvant, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. The antibodies were immunoaffinity purified from a solid phase immunoabsorbant and conjugated to N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS)-activated agarose beads. Beads were washed extensively after the blocking of the residual NHS sites.

Formulation: Phosphate buffered saline‚ pH 7.2 with 0.075% sodium azide.

Caution: This product is intended FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY, and FOR TESTS IN VITRO, not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures involving humans or animals.
