Source: Chickens were immunized with highly purified human hemoglobin. After multiple immunizations, eggs were collected and the IgY fraction prepared. This fraction was immunoaffinity purified from an immunoabsorbant and conjugated to horseradish peroxidase.

Formulation: Phosphate buffered saline‚ pH 7.2‚ 50% glycerol with 0.01% Thimerosal.
